It’s girl-fiend, not girl-friend. The name comes from an email I should not have seen where a woman who did not like me referred to me as my then boyfriend’s crazy ex-girlfiend. I am still not sure if it was a typo or an attempt at a joke on her part, but the name seemed as appropriate as anything else and the blog’s name was born.
The boyfriend is now my husband, B(oyfiend). We have two boys, F(iendling) and T(he baby), a baby on the way, two cats, and a big house in the outskirts of the city. I like to read, cook, knit and garden.
