For some reason when I try to come up with a title for this post the song “Picture pages, picture pages, time to get your picture pages, time to get your crayons and your pencil,” goes through my head. This post has nothing to do with that old show or the song. I’m just posting a few pictures.
Done
Last night was my last knitting class. I finished my mittens. They’re not perfect, but they have thumbs and fit on my hands. They’re orange and cheery and somewhat lopsided, but I made them all by myself. Here’s one of them.
The color looks terrible with the flash but my camera died so I can’t take another. But you get the idea. I also made Boyfiend a scarf.
Considering the mitten class didn’t teach us how to change color, I think it looks great. Again, the color in the picture is a bit screwy, but it’s much closer to what it actually looks like than the picture of the mitten is.
Better
We still don’t know for sure what was wrong with Isaac, but our best guess is that some cat hating asshole kicked him in the stomach, causing the bruise and the high temperature. He’s recovered, but he’s pissed off he’s not allowed outside anymore.
He wasn’t very good about staying still so I couldn’t exactly get the picture I was going for. When they shaved his belly they exposed this cutie pouch of fat he’s got hanging from his belly. Shaved, it looks pretty funny when he sits upright, as his pouch sort of just sits on the floor. It reminds me of udders. You can sort of make it out, but it’s much funnier in person. He’s a good kitty, but I think the other cats might be making fun of his bad haircut.

I always wanted that pen that Bill Cosby used to draw with. I think it even had a name but it was cool how it made all those sounds.

Hi–I just sort of happened on your blog via the bith club ring, and I had to tell you how much I love your cat. He happens to look exactly like mine, so much so that it’s a little uncanny. See?
Even down to the dark splotches on their noses that make them look like they’re slightly dirty. Maybe they are long-lost brother and sister. Anyway, I hope he feels better soon.
