In retrospect, this was not my first reaction to a plant containing urushiol. Last time I got a rash from a dog, and now that I think about it, I’m almost positive my only contact with poison whatever would have been from a dog I pet in the park, a dog who coincidentally was also named Fiendling, only not Fiendling, the Fiendling’s actual name. So there you have it.
