Does it count as watching television if the local PBS station’s (WHYY) sound doesn’t come through right and we spend the morning watching Arthur and Curious George with classical music (from WHYY fm) pumping through instead? I mean, I am cuddling on the couch watching with him.
PBS used to work just fine, but now it’s all classical all the time. Sometimes I miss having cable. Sesame Street’s better with the regular sound. We’ve got to hook up the antenna correctly.

But classical music is supposed to be good for your brain!

funny to warch one thing and listen to another, but it will be no harm since classical is great for the brain

Um, no, it doesn’t count. I lived my entire life without cable- until about 6 years ago and I haven’t gone back.

Isn’t there an episode of Seinfeld — maybe this one? — in which Jerry emphasizes that all the classical music he knows, he learned from golden era Looney Tunes? I mean, not that you want the Fiendling to grow up to be Seinfeld, but… well, the man is very rich.
(So yeah, it’s fine. Trust me, I’m (almost) a doctor.)
